DESCRIPTION:This December come immerse yourself in our Christmas celebrations on the Fairgrounds! The Alaska State Fair has partnered with the Christmas Factory to bring you the new Yuletide Festival. After enjoying the “Bright Up the Night” drive-through holiday light display and the Christmas Factory\, stay awhile and enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas-themed atmosphere on the Fairgrounds with food trucks\, outdoor and indoor games and activities\, and carnival rides including the carousel and “Spin the Apples”. Warm up by the bonfire\, or stop in the heated warming tent where you’ll find beer\, mulled wine\, hot spiced cider\, and festive mocktails\, along with live music performances from our Alaskan community.  Bring your family and enjoy the holiday festivities at the Fairgrounds with us! The drive-through holiday light display\, Bright Up the Night and the Christmas Factory events will also take place on the Fairgrounds.

DESCRIPTION:Join PAC on our first foray into the culinary arts! On December 7th at 3:00 we will be teaming up with Matanuska Brewery and Dustin of Patriot BBQ to offer a class on the technique and art of cooking brisket. Adult participants aged 18 and older will be able to follow along with the process as well as sample the delicious product. We are hopeful that culinary classes for adults will become a regular event offering. Keep an eye out on our social media and website for registration details\, this class will be limited to 30 people. Tickets are $35 general admission and $30 for PAC members.
