DESCRIPTION:This December come immerse yourself in our Christmas celebrations on the Fairgrounds! The Alaska State Fair has partnered with the Christmas Factory to bring you the new Yuletide Festival. After enjoying the “Bright Up the Night” drive-through holiday light display and the Christmas Factory\, stay awhile and enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas-themed atmosphere on the Fairgrounds with food trucks\, outdoor and indoor games and activities\, and carnival rides including the carousel and “Spin the Apples”. Warm up by the bonfire\, or stop in the heated warming tent where you’ll find beer\, mulled wine\, hot spiced cider\, and festive mocktails\, along with live music performances from our Alaskan community.  Bring your family and enjoy the holiday festivities at the Fairgrounds with us! The drive-through holiday light display\, Bright Up the Night and the Christmas Factory events will also take place on the Fairgrounds.

Step inside the Don Sheldon to shop for unique gifts from local vendors or let the kids’ laughter ring out as they enjoy carnival rides like the carousel\, giant slide\, and spinning apples.\nThroughout the festival\, enjoy live holiday music from Alaskan performers\, cozy movie showings\, and plenty of games and activities indoors and out.\nWhether you’re here for the lights\, the music\, the food\, or simply the joy of being together\, the Yuletide Festival is your invitation to celebrate the season in true Fair style.
