DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Seed Swap on Friday\, March 6th from 4-6pm and Saturday\, March 7th from 10am-2pm at the UAF Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center.\nBring seed packets to swap (they do NOT need to be new or unopened) and take some seed packets home with you. Drop in any time during the designated hours for this free family friendly event.\n**This year the swap will be for 2 days only so be sure to mark your calendar** Try something NEW in your garden this summer!\nAlong with seeds\, we will have information about our Community Garden space\, upcoming classes\, what’s happening in our community\, and more!\nWe are located right off Trunk Road at 1509 S. Georgeson Dr. Palmer\, AK 99645\, near Mat-Su Regional Hospital.\nIf you’d like to donate seeds beforehand\, please drop them off at the UAF Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center. DESCRIPTION:The Greens class by Landly AK is the perfect introduction to hand embroidery. In this class you will learn 6 stitches in a 4-hour period. All supplies are included but please bring glasses if you use them and feel free to bring anything of your own you’d prefer to use. You will go home with your piece\, a 5 inch bamboo hoop\, a size 5 needle and thread needed to complete any left over work at home.
